Who Was the Client?

‍Xavio Design was the client, a leading lighting design consultancy, who excel in super-prime residential projects and associated sectors such as luxury hospitality, retail and marine.

Their work spans super-prime areas of Central London such as Belgravia, Mayfair, Kensington, Knightsbridge, and more, as well as catering to ultra-high-net-worth clients globally. Their expertise in creating stunning lighting designs for these exclusive spaces positions them as leaders in their field.

What Was the Brief?

‍Xavio Design sought a business card that would go beyond making a first impression, to creating an unforgettable one. The goal was an ultra-luxe business card that embodied their expertise in light and design, while telling a meaningful story.

They wanted a business card that would serve as a conversation starter, reflecting the intricate beauty and sophistication of their projects. The challenge was to design a business card that was both visually impressive and also deeply resonant with the narrative of their brand.

A Luxury Business Card With a Story

‍Branding through storytelling is powerful, especially when it resonates with the target audience. For Xavio, the story was light. Inspired by one of their projects in Belgravia featuring a Moroccan Lantern Lift, which cast artificial sunbeams through intricate mesh as it travels up and down the interior, we decided to incorporate this striking pattern into the business card itself.

We explored several designs to capture the essence of the Moroccan mesh, ensuring it was accurate and fully representative, while incorporating the Xavio logo as a centrepiece. This intricate detailing turned this luxury business card into a piece of art, echoing their thoughtful lighting design for the Moroccan Lantern Lift.  So much so, when held to light against a surface, the business card subtly replicates the memorable sunbeam effect.

The Materials

‍We chose laser-cut rose gold metal for a bespoke finish, creating a card that is not only visually stunning but also luxurious to the touch. The delicate cuts and the polished material ensure the card stands out in any setting. The tactile experience of holding the card adds to its appeal, making it a tangible representation of quality and elegance.
